After seeing us in action at their good friends’ wedding, Ron & Natasha were excited to book us for theirs! Ron was a groomsman in his buddy’s wedding, but this time around, he was the main focus of our cameras for this engagement shoot…him and his beautiful bride-to-be ;) Seven years together and you can still see that twinkle in their eyes for each other!
Read MoreThis engagement shoot had a special touch to it, as we photographed a couple we loved working with nearly 10 years ago, in the same location (the trails & bridges of Cook Forest), with the SAME prop (a fun & flirty red heart umbrella!) We shared so much laughter and joy with Kurt & Kristen during this shoot =) Here Sam & I are, 17 years in, still loving what we get to do and WHO we get to do it with!
Read MoreWe are always up for traveling & exploring a new location for our engagement shoots! For their session, Sean & LeeAnn brought us out to the covered bridge where he proposed! The fresh fallen snow made for a gorgeous backdrop by the bridge. And the streets of the adorable little town of Ellicottville were perfect for a stroll hand-in-hand!
Read MoreWith sun shining and the bitter cold, these two made the most of their Winter engagement shoot before they move down to sunny & warm Florida this month…JEALOUS! ;)
Read MoreFor our last photo shoot of 2021, we were able to fit these two high school sweethearts into our holiday schedule. It was a very chilly December afternoon, but the sun was shining bright and it left a gorgeous glow on Grant & Gabby for their engagement shoot!
Read MoreOne of our favorite things to do with engagement shoots is to showcase who our couples are! What are their hobbies, favorite date spots, and in general how do they spend their time together. For David + Lindsay, that includes 1. hunting and archery in their own backyard and 2. walks and cuddles with their fur baby, Boland! The bow & arrow AND Bobo the puppy made a perfect combination for their session!
Read MoreOne of our favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to know our couples ahead of time and using that information as inspiration for their photo shoot…Philip & Lauren’s session was exactly that! They enjoy going to wine tastings and actually are getting married this year at a local Winery, so a wine & cheese tasting by the lake was perfect. Then after I heard Philip proposed while the two of them were painting a sunset on canvas (another one of their favorite hobbies), we decided to have a mini paint session at sunset during our shoot…and even more fun, a paint war ;)
Read MoreSam & I love exploring new locations with our couples, it’s so inspiring for us and what we see through our lens…golden hour in a field, a sunset peeking through the trees, and an evening stroll creekside! We ALSO love brainstorming prop ideas with our couples to add that personal touch to the session. Sarah brought red roses, just like Andrew did on their first date! Plus the leather album that Andrew gave on her birthday that he used for a surprise proposal <3 So romantic!
Read MoreWe’ve been waiting for this engagement shoot for 6 years! That’s odd to say, right? ;) We actually photographed the wedding of Yvonne’s brother in 2014 and she said as soon as her time came to get married, that she wanted Sam & I to shoot her wedding too! And after 10 years of dating Dan, we joked with Yvonne, what a year to pick to finally get married, haha. But Yvonne said she wouldn’t have their love story any other way <3
Read MoreSometimes a photo shoot is well worth the wait! For Dustin & Elizabeth’s session, we not only had to reschedule due to quarantine, but also because all the barber shops were closed and Dustin, understandably, didn’t want the hair of a hippy for photos ;) But what did all that rescheduling mean? These gorgeous flower bushes were in full bloom for our shoot! Along with a beautiful Spring day, complete with sunshine, blue skies, and white fluffy clouds. All the stunning scenery these two were hoping for!
Read More“Flirt like you’re in a Hallmark Christmas Movie” ;) That’s what I told Curtis + Lauren for their engagement photos while they baked cookies! Man, was I excited for this session, adding a new option for our couples with Lifestyle Sessions…comfy, cozy at home, doing the things you love to do as a couple: playing with the dog, baking in the kitchen, cuddling on the couch, slow dancing barefoot, sipping wine or hot chocolate OR BOTH =D
Read More9 years…NINE years Brandon & Kyrstie have been together, so needless to say, we had some fun laughing with this fun-loving, light-hearted couple! They know each other oh-so-well and that level of comfort with each other shows.
Read MoreThe cold won’t hold us back! For yesterday’s Engagement Session, we just needed a comfy blanket and the love & laughter of Joe & Katie to warm up our time together =) They are seriously so cute and so GORGEOUS!

Read MoreWell these two are just the sweetest =) You'd swear they were from the South with their charming demeanor ;) I mean within days of their Session, Sam & I received a crafted, handwritten thank you note from April sharing how much she loved their photos!...
